About the
Project

ProdNat is a local business which focuses on sustainability and delivering environmentally friendly products to combat the use of microplastics in our homes and businesses.

Their main crop consists of Lufa plants, a natural and organic replacement for industrially produced kitchen and bath sponges. ProdNat specializes in both growing and processing luffas. They deliver this product both at an individual level, but also at a commercial level.

TECHTONIKA Media partnered with ProdNat to rethink and redesign their website to better reflect their brand and products.
How we do it

Our CREATIVE PROCESS

We kicked off the project by meeting with the ProdNat team to establish the new website’s direction, scope and structure. As a secondary step, we audited the existing website to determine what was working for the brand and what was not. During our audit phase, it became clear that the new website needed to support additional content about ProdNat’s products and activity.

TECHTONIKA Media first developed a new wireframe structure that would be the base for the new design. We tested different modules and proposed a solution that would allow for more content to be added, but also visually supported for each page.
How we do it

Our Design Solution

ProdNat is a modern brand, but with a traditional twist, an organic approach to both product and business.
For our design solution we wanted a welcoming modern and clean approach to the pages of the website, with easily readable content and well organized visuals.

We chose the typeface “Lato” as our typography solution for the website, as it’s an appropriate choice for web, but also has a clean and modern vibe to it.

For colors, we decided to further drive home the organic and agricultural side of the business. We chose warm tones, inspired by the products that ProdNat delivers and combined them with shades of light gray and deep purple to balance them out.

To make the additional content more accessible, we used icons and illustrations throughout the website to give it a friendlier and more familiar feeling.
